Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe first time your child receives Eucharist is a time of great joy for your family and for us here at St. Francis Xavier Parish.
Two years of preparation is required to receive the sacrament of Eucharist. This sacrament normally is received in the 2nd grade, but we will work with families of older children that come through our program also.
Families are required to attend 3 Parent/Child Prep-Liturgies in preparation for the Sacrament of Eucharist. At the 3rd Prep-Liturgy students will receive their 1st Reconciliation.

Important dates for the 2026-2027 school year:
Prep Liturgy #1: Sunday, January 10, 2027 1PM – 2PM
Prep Liturgy #2: Sunday, February 21, 2027 1PM – 2PM
Prep Liturgy #3: Sunday, March 7, 2026 1PM – 2:30PM (First Reconciliation 1PM – 1:30PM)
Rosary Making: Date To Be Determined 6:30PM - 8:30PM
First Communion Rehearsal – Wednesday, April 28, 2027 5PM, 6PM , 7PM
First Communion Masses – Saturday, May 1, 2027 9AM, 12PM, 3PM
